Slow Down: This is an isolated section of the layout wherein the two track mainline expands to four tracks allowing for switching of slower trains to the siding. The section was designed with separate controls so the engineer can slow or stop trains within this span, for spacing the trains running on the mainlines. The sidings can also be used for train storage if the main yard is at capacity.
