The Scenery Modules……

A standard scenery module measures 20″ Wide x 47½” Long x 4″ High
The underside of the module leaves room for electrical connections and other connections
Here a standard module is placed to the rear of a specially made module that will eventually become the waterfall & hobo camp under trestles
Cardboard strips become the framework for Geodesic foam to be added for the waterfall on the standard module
A rear view showing the cardboard mountain framework
The mountain and waterfall and lower falls begin to take shape using polyurethane foam and bubble wrap designed by Bragdon Enterprises
A closer look at the base of the mountain and waterfall
A view of the lower falls, creek bed and sides of the ravine. The next step will be to glue on resin rock molds and then acrylic paints to add texture, shadows and depth to the rock surfaces
The completed module with twin trestles by BridgeMasters, a hobo camp underneath and real water flows over the falls to the creek below; a pump under the modules recycles water from the creek back up to the top of the falls; a flickering campfire and lantern provide realism
A piece of ½ inch plywood covered with Geodesic foam rock and painted later with acrylics, makes a great backdrop for any scene; it is clamped to the back of a standard module
